When I visited Port Albert this boat caught my attention. I thought that it would be nice to compose it with a rising Milky Way Core. After several unsuccessful attempts thanks mainly to strong winds, heavy clouds and the odd shower, I finally managed to capture the image what I had in my mind for a long time. I ended up sleeping in my cold car as it was too late to return home with a road full of night wildlife. But I don’t regret it as I love this image. I imagine this boat sailing to the very centre of our Galaxy.
